The Fairtrade Society works closely with the union to promote fair trade and related products within the university. We also enjoy strong ties with the Bristol Fairtrade city network. As a society we organise a variety of events throughout the year including film nights, food and wine tasting and acclaimed speaker evenings – to name a few goings on! On occasions we also collaborate with other campaigning societies to raise the profile of Fairtrade and organise bigger and better events. The highlight of our calendar is Fairtrade Fortnight, which is also our busiest time of year, with a variety of promotional activities happening in and around the university vicinity.
