Come down to Alterego this Thursday for a real live Dragon's Den experience!!

We have 6 social-enterprise ideas which will be pitched by students who are competing for a 1st prize of £250! The runner up will receive £50.

The AUDIENCE gets to VOTE too - so come and judge who you think should be the winner and enjoy free food and great drinks deals!

Charity 5km Run

14th March - Coombe Dingle

Women's race 2:30pm, Male race 3:30pm

Run for Yourself, your Sports Club, Intramural Team or Hall of Residence - this is a fantastic opportunity to have some fun and get active.
Prizes will be awarded for fastest male, female, AU club, intramural team and hall of residence and a special prize for best fancy dress!

AMNESTY - AGM

This Monday at 7:30 we'll be holding our annual AGM so that we can select our new committee.
Everyone and anyone is invited to come along even if you haven't been to any of our events at all! All that's involved is you nominating yourself to be one of the many roles on our committee (this will not involve you making a speech or anything like that).

Induction Training

5.15pm in the Training Suite

There will be a Child Protection Induction Training Session next Monday for anyone who hasn't done it yet. It's the only compulsory training that all new volunteers must take part in to be allowed to volunteer.

This will be online at http://www.bristol.ac.uk/studentskills/cobs from Tuesday Afternoon where you can sign up for the course.

Fairtrade AGM and Cafe Kino Meal

We will be voting on a new committee for the coming year and disscussing ways to improve the Fairtrade Society, all in the lovely surroundings of the White Bear Pub.
This will be followed by a subsidized meal at Cafe Kino. It would be great to hear peoples ideas on what they want out of the Fairtrade Society.

We are hosting the Annual Elderly Dinner Dance in the Avon Gorge, Students' Union, and we would like YOU to join us!

Every year we provide transport, food, entertainment and dancing for up to 100 older people from Bristol.
